So? Anyone loving this band as much as I do? Do you have a favorite album and what do you think of their last one, because, in my opinion, they could have done better (however, I just have the feeling the next one will be great).
I've seen them live twice, and I can say that, so far, based on my humble experience, they're one of the best live bands out there Cheers for the Clan!

I think Korpiklaani's problem is the pace they're having with their albums. I mean a new album every year for many years already. With that pace you are bound to have a quality drop at some point. Although I don't think their latest album was that bad really.
I do like their Happy Little Boozer era the most though

Yep, I agree :] They're the most productive band I know (heck, two albums in one year.. who does that? ) The thing I don't like about the new album is that it has a few outstanding songs and the rest just can't grab be, unlike in their older albums where every song had different charm. The good thing though is that it's mostly in Finnish, and their Finnish songs are more special to me.
A masterpiece from "Karkelo"

I like Korpi. I don't like their new album as much as the others either. For example: with Vodka, I only like the first part of the song. The second part is like I've already heard it and I almost always skip it by then. And I have that with more songs.
But they are still very awesome. And their songs are still great at parties and such.

I have listened to some of their stuff, but I just don't "get" them. Is this the band that did that song "Cottages & Beer?" I liked that one, but otherwise, I was just...meh about them.

one of my favorite bands! saw them at wacken last year... what a show! i was already damn tired but the guys put up a really great party. still i agree that releasing an album every year doesn't help much and the quality is not the same like it was in albuns like spirit of the forest, tales along the road and tervaskanto.
