What do you thing about them?
I start listening to them when I began in to the metal world
I like "The Black Halo" and "Silverthorn", this one was a great begining for the new singer
Some music if you don't know them, and their oficial web ^^

Re: --Kamelot--
I saw Kamelot live in Tuska Festival couple of years back and they worked very nicely live. But must say they have never been on the top of my lists.
Re: --Kamelot--
I like them a lot, and I loved Roy Khan's voice. I was so disappointed when he left the band, but the new singer is actually amazing, so it really works with him as well. I've seen them in 2010 at a festival, and I'd love to see them again with Tommy.
Though for some reason I didn't really like the latest album. Gets me bored if I listen to the whole thing and no song really stands out, maybe I have to give it another try. But also the style of Poetry for the Poisoned wasn't really my thing, I prefer the older albums.

Re: --Kamelot--
To be a band from America they are really good. Roy's voice was amaaaaazing and I wish he was still in the band. Oh well, at least they did get a good replacement.
Re: --Kamelot--
I do like Kamelot as well. Power metal I listen to on occasion, although I hate that term and all other terms for metal.
But I am trying to figure out the for a band from America comment? Last time I checked we still have great bands, veteran and new bands that kick major ass.

Re: --Kamelot--
Most bands I like are from other countries. I know Iced Earth is huge, but I have never really been into them. I just don't like many American bands I guess. I listen to them, but not my favs.
Re: --Kamelot--
Fair enough, however I don't think the bands that we have either veteran or new are any less great as their European counterparts.
