Revolution Renaissance

Well many have heard Stratovarius right? After Timo Tolkki left Stratovarius he made this band. It had the following line-up:

Timo Tolkki / Guitar
Gus Monsanto / Vocals
Bruno Agra / Drums
Justin Biggs / Bass
Mike Khalilov / Keyboards

Revolution Renaissance made 3 albums in total although the first album New Era was basically built with songs written for new Stratovarius album. But their second album Age of Aquarius was one of the darkest album Timo Tolkki has ever made. Gonna post few songs from YouTube here.





Now those songs were dark...something Timo Tolkki had never made before. Then came the last album of Revolution Renaissance, Trinity. And it had some easier tracks Some below





After that came Symfonia...but about that in another thread.

I haven't been listening to this in ages! I should be checking it again. I remember that I really liked New Era when it came out.

They are a great band. I especially loved their second album, Age of Aquarius. Never been into their last one though. Maybe because of the easier tracks.

I loved the first album (Tobias Sammet!! ) but wasn't too thrilled with the second. And I somehow missed the memo that there was a third. Thanks for the clips!
