What are your favorite books/authors? What are some you would like to read or recommend to everyone?

Since my first years in High School I love police/crime books.
I used to spend all the breaks reading Agatha Christie's books, the person in charge of the school library always call me "Miss Christie" refering to that fact xD

On my last year my literature teacher suggest me a swedish writter, Henning Mankell, and his books about a detective call Wallander, I really enjoy it ^^


And well, I was a big fan of Harry Potter books since my grandfather give me the first one

I stick to Poe mainly and other classics like Blake and Shakespeare. The only modern author I read is Stephen King.

Classics include Tolstoy and Cervantes.

Enjoy fantasy literature a lot: Including:

Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, L. E. Modesitt Jr., Robert Jordan, Glen Cook, Steven R. Donaldson, Steven Erikson and Ian C. Esslemont.

Plus a whole lot of history including war history. Mark Zuehlke and David M. Glantz.
